ERICA LYNN

ERICA HAS ALWAYS HAD A DEEP PASSION FOR THE OCEAN. GROWING UP IN NEW YORK, SHE SPENT COUNTLESS WEEKENDS FLUKE FISHING WITH HER POPPOP, HANGING OUT ON THE DOCKS, OR BLUE CRABBING ALONG THE SEAWALLS. THOSE EARLY DAYS ON THE WATER SPARKED A LIFELONG LOVE FOR THE OUTDOORS. A PASSION THAT ONLY GREW STRONGER AFTER HER GRANDFATHER’S PASSING DURING HER TEENAGE YEARS.

AFTER EARNING A DEGREE IN GRAPHIC DESIGN IN PENNSYLVANIA, ERICA MOVED TO FLORIDA IN 2014, WHERE SHE BOUGHT A CONDO ON THE WATER AND A FISHING KAYAK SO SHE COULD GET BACK OUT ON THE WATER INDEPENDENTLY. SINCE THEN, SHE’S CHALLENGED HERSELF TO LEARN NEW FISHING TECHNIQUES AND DOCUMENT HER EXPERIENCES ALONG THE WAY. A FEW YEARS AGO, SHE DISCOVERED FLY FISHING, WHICH QUICKLY BECAME ONE OF HER FAVORITES. COMBINING THE THRILL OF BOTH “HUNTING” AND “FISHING.”

TODAY, ERICA LIVES IN TAMPA, FLORIDA WITH HER HUSBAND, TWO DOGS, CHICKENS, AND A THRIVING HOMESTEAD GARDEN. WHEN SHE’S NOT FISHING, SHE CAN BE FOUND EDITING VIDEOS, CREATING ART, MANAGING HER SOCIAL MEDIA, WORKING OUT, FARMING, WALKING HER DOGS, BAKING SOURDOUGH BREAD, OR WAKEBOARDING. HER TIME ON THE WATER CONTINUES TO INSPIRE HER ARTWORK, AND SHE’S NOW SHARING SOME OF HER FAVORITE DESIGNS AS PART OF HER OWN MERCH COLLECTION.
